As of today when I checked, the International Violet Wand Guild’s new website has finally launched. Looks like there are a few bugs of course, and still content to move. Its been a long time coming, and so unfortunate the […]
Rumor A quiet rumor is circulating among some east coast venues this week about a new violet wand product, not on the market, that surfaced at an event recently. All I can get so far is that it is intense, […]
Aside from a violet wand, what are the accessories you can't do without?
You would want to amend that question slightly, and have it read 'Aside from the violet wand and electrodes, what are the accessories you can't do without?' Primarily because you can't really do without violet wand electrodes, as all Direct techniques are based on them. Without glass violet wand electrodes, you may as well just grab your wand by the cord and beat someone with it. A violet wand without electrodes is like having a car without fuel, a computer without software, Anita Bryant without orange juice...you get the picture.
But there are two accessories that are must haves--- because with just having these two on hand, you increase your range and available techniques exponentially. Take your time collecting other violet wand accessories if you like, but get these two as soon as you can, preferably at the same time you get your violetwand. And as always, go for quality and durability of the manufacturer-made items, not the cheap knock offs. It may not seem obvious why you don't want to obtain or use jury-rigged electrical components, after all they are less expensive. Short version explanation: safety. This is high voltage electricity you're playing with, and a homemade component isn't adequate for safety. For the in-depth reasons, see below.

As promised, more about some of the prominent violet wand people and players. At left is Uncle Abdul, author of "Juice, Electricity for Pleasure and Pain" by Greenery Press, 1998. Unc’, as he is familiarly called, is one of […]
"That's not what its called. I know because I invented it in 1997. "
There's always one. Or in our demographic, three. Where do they come from?
From the most interesting mail I received today:
"...thanks for update (sic) with the photos of people to avoid. I wish you'd put names with the faces though. Do you have other photos of important players in the wand world?"
Yes I do. I like going to events and mingling, and meeting the important people. Here are some more.
The customer reviews I have on sources where you can BUY a violet wand are two years old. That’s why they did not make it into my website rebuild here at its new URL. So I need YOUR input to create […]
