 Reverse Techniques

Probably the least familiar of the three basic techniques is reverse.  This set of techniques makes it very easy on the top partner.  Instead of using the Body Contact Probe with the Top partner, the Body Contact Probe is placed in contact with the Bottom partner.  This draws the current through the bottom to receive the spark. Now your bottom partner is electrified, and anything you use on them will cause a spark which they will feel.

Turn off the wand with a power strip, footswitch, or unplug it.  Insert one end of the body contact probe into the wand.  When you're rigging up your bottom partner, attach the other end of the body contact probe to them; tuck it in an ankle cuff,  or wrap it to their flesh anywhere.  This is one time that the ball chain really works when you clip it to a piercing.  You can't really clip a weighty body contact probe to a piercing, but a ball chain 'Dancing Chain' with alligator clicks is made for it.

Now, turn on the wand.  The bottom partner will not feel the electricity entering or in their body.  So  when you use any metal tools on them, they will have no idea how or why it feels the way it does, why there are sparks, or what is hitting them.

The beauty of Reverse Techniques, is that the Top partner's hands are totally free.  The top has total freedom of movement.  As a top, pick up anything you like that is conductive: knives, forks, spoons, shrimp forks, mylar floggers, chain mail floggers, coins, jewelry, metal clips and bindings, hooks and spreader bars and cuffs...anything metal...corrupted DVDs you didn't throw away, keys, wires and cables...anything conductive, and...

...enjoy total freedom of movement as you  work with your toys.

Pavel demonstrates how Reverse techniques work, though he is holding onto the wand as well as the end of the Body Contact probe where it enters the wand.  Now the top (hand in picture) can pull the charge from him and cause the sensations that way, while he is totally HANDS-FREE.  Pavel's head sparks to the lightbulb, causing it to light.  And yes, Pavel feels it the same as if it were the other techniques; there is no loss in strength of the current with this technique, except through natural dissipation to the air.

Make your bottom partner do the work, maintaining contact with the wand.

Thanks Pavel!
