Indirect Techniques

For Indirect Techniques you'll need:

Direct techniques applied the current directly to your bottom partner.  But with Indirect techniques the current is applied to the bottom partner through the top partner.  Yes, the current first goes from the wand, through the top partner, to exit somewhere on the top partner to the bottom partner.  This is probably the most fun basic technique even though very few people know about it or how to do it.  Yet its not hard.  It can be a little tricky to master, but it is well worth it.

First get your wand and make sure its off, as in unplugged.  Insert one end of the body contact probe or pad into the wand.

Body contact probes or pads come in some different styles and materials (we've even seen people selling lengths of ball chain with aluminum foil-wrapped cardboard as the contacts! )  You can always jury rig something like that yourself if you want to try Indirect techniques, though an artist is only as good as their tools.  Just like floggers can vary in quality, there is no excuse for shoddy or poor quality tools, because your techniques suffer in quality as well.  Besides, ball chain loses a lot of the current along the length and gives you quite a spark kickback.  The best body contact probes are made from high-voltage rated cable so you keep your current at full strength along its length, delivering it where you want it.  For the best output (and thus the best sensation for your bottom partner) invest in a professional quality contact probe--kick it up and get the real deal when you want to master this set of techniques.
