For several months, I have been asking readers to complete business review surveys. There is still quite some time to go before closing the survey with sufficient results.
This review is almost moot, since E.E is going out of business, so I am posting their results now. Total number of surveys received for EE was 87. For each question, averages were taken and are displayed. Unusual comments have been included. >>> go see the results of EE's survey answers by clicking 'read more' below.

Violet Wand Guild is re-launching |

The International Violet Wand Guild has set to relaunch its new website at www.violetwands.org during early October. Its current news update shows it moving from 1 Oct through 5 Oct, but the migration of the new site may take a little longer than that to ensure it migrates properly, and final steps to move are taking place.
In 2007, the then Chairman of the Violet Wand Guild, Dan McFeyden (aka Murlach) who also owned the domains at www.violetwands.org and www.violetwands.net, locked up the websites from the Guild and its other network partners. He held the sites for over a year till a coalition of members met his asking price, at which time the sites were purchased for the use of the Guild and its network. Due to the lockout, the Guild lost officers, communications with its members, and its sponsors. As their new site relaunches in this early October 2009, the International Violet Wand Guild wishes to make it known they are going home and wishes to welcome their members back to www.violetwands.org. |

Update direct from the Violet Wand Guild: The rebuild has commenced. If you are awaiting confirmation for your registration, standby, as you'll need to re-register with the newly built site. Unfortunately, this is because, as shown in our previous articles, their database was damaged by the ex-Chairman before his departure.
Good luck, Guild!

An anonymous source reports some additional information on the International Violet Wand Guild's website. If you have had any information on their politics, their ex-chairman locked all its officers away from various levels of site access, then he disappeared. While the guild was still functional, still able to do their demonstrations and attend events, the fact they were locked out of the administration of their website left them without much forward progress.
At some point, one guild officer was able to establish contact with the ex-chairman and enter into negotiations to regain control of the website and some access was restored. Since then, we are told, they have been able to hack remaining access and now have back-end control once more. They are deciding on their future direction and gearing up for a major website rebuild.
