Rogues GalleryIn receiving today's news tidbit about the International Violetwand Guild, I am prompted to do a piece describing the political climate of the violet wand world.  On one hand you have mostly very nice and genuine people, respectful businessmen and women, and knowledgeable demonstrators and experts that you'd find it a joy to interact with.  And, like in any other arena, on the other hand you have a few real winners with their own agendas that have made our niche fetish bad for everyone.

Here, for your entertainment only, a small art gallery.  A rogues gallery, if you will..the people in the violetwand world you should definitely do well to STAY away from.  And thankfully, its a very small rogues gallery.

ElectroJackPortrait #1.  This painting is entitled, 'Hate Makes Waste'.

The artist of this portrait had little technical skill.  Thankfully, this portrait is no longer in business as a violet wand retailer.  The painting portrays a bully in his natural brutish habitat.  He stole photographs, textual content and product ideas without reserve, cutting and pasting and cobbling together a website made up of the work of others.  Probably because he didn't have an Electro-original idea,  of his own, didn't know Jack about violet wands, and was too lazy to take even a photograph.  He threatened other retailers, sent them harassing and abusive communications in which he threatened severe physical injury to them, and conducted smear-type 'advertising' campaigns to scare legitimate business people out of business.  Finally, things caught up with him and he fled his home state to disappear into the obscurity he painted for himself.

Murlach Dan McfeydenPortrait #2.  The title of this painting is 'Adders Fang'd'.

This painting starts out smoothly and softly in the background and its colors reflect trust and positive energy as the serpent whispers in your ear.  This portrait demonstrates technical skill and knowledge as a violet wand demonstrator and leader, and began on such positive notes that hundreds of people got behind his drive and ambition and outward friendliness.  But  darkness lurks Mur-kily in corners and under rocks, and a leader of a growing and dynamic fetish organization turned on those same people, and showed his venom.  He locked up the organization's website and held it hostage, demanding money from some of the organization's principal players before he would release it.  He, thankfully, has since crawled under some rock.

Lucky for LatexPortrait #3.  This acrylic on canvasboard is called 'Bread and Wine'.

This impressionist portrait is an allusion to Don Paulo, a literary figure who was a political agitator, and who dressed incognito as a priest to spread his calumny.  And so this painting represents someone dressing in disguise to undermine others in the VW world. This not-quite-a-gentleman tried to pass high frequency beauty machines off on an unsuspecting kinkypublic, while at the same time disguising himself as an expert and casting aspersions on all other violet wand demonstrators and companies.  He was found out, Lucky for us, and had to stop his sales.  But, like all impressions, perhaps things are not as they seem..and while he has a much much lower profile these days, he has re-disguised himself with an ebook.  You'll find it in the fiction section.

DMTPortrait #4.  Here we have a painting titled 'Al-ebay and The 40 Thieves'.

While this painting is titled 'The 40 Thieves', we see just one thief who has stolen 40 times.  He's ambitious, but his ambition is not to create his own destiny.  It is to borrow, like a pickpocket on the streets, from the pockets of others.  He steals their ideas.  He steals their products.  He steals them from the large marketplace which exists in the open light of day, makes lesser quality knock-offs, and takes them into the back alley auction house to pass off as his own.  Whatever new product will hit the market, the street rat will steal it, knock off copies of lower quality, and huckster them from the shadows.  Whatever transformer he can lay his hands on, whether used or borrowed or antique, or wand imposter device, winds up with his label on it.  'Hey mister', you will hear him whisper from the Freezing shadows of the alleys, '..want to buy a "rolex"?'.
