OMG Chicken Little

Whenever someone starts a business, they have to find a niche for themselves. No different for the violet wand business, but its particularly hard because violet wands do not have a big market. They are a niche kink of a niche fetish.  Violetwanda is already doing best quality, Mjolnir is for advanced users, The Violet Wand Store is good quality/price for the general user, Dr Clockwork has the cult followers who’ll pay more for the name, Huse is an old guard standby, and that leaves a scrabble of small vendors who struggle to distinguish themselves or their products in any meaningful way.

Unfortunately, the newest guy trying to break into violet wands, is engaging in a Chicken Little frightfest and squawking about the lack of safety of every other vendor’s products. He throws out nonsensical terms like “carbon scoring” (wtf you think you’re in Star Wars?)* and overloads accessories to force a failed test to convince buyers that suddenly after decades, ONLY HIS PRODUCTS ARE SAFE.

Now scrabbling sellers often resort to negative advertising if they can’t come up with positive things to say about their own products. But this guy’s ‘test’ is a concocted sham. It amounts to plugging an accessory directly into the wall and testing as if 1500 volts of household A/C current were running through it. Which…of course…, isn’t how violet wand accessories are used. Nobody plugs a violet wand electrode or accessory right into the wall. There’s always a transformer in between- the violet wand. Of course your smart phone is going to fail if you wire it direct from the wall to 110v and don’t use a transforming wall charger. And of course your wall charger is going to fail if you push 1500v through it. The transformer TRANSFORMS the household current before it gets to your phone…or to your violet wand accessory.

Use your common sense. We don’t need new myths of bad information. So because I have received another email about this OMG YOURE GOING TO DIE IF YOU GET YOUR VIOLET WAND PRODUCTS FROM ANYONE BUT ME THE NEW GUY,  I can tell you that its merely negative advertising. If he were REALLY testing violet wand products, he’d plug a known, good condition, new violet wand into the wall as a control, plug all the accessories he wanted to ‘test’ into the -same- violet wand, then test for peak voltage of just 170 volts (the highest expected spike in household current) barring a lightning strike.

No violet wand electrode or accessory is used without a violet wand, so safety starts with you and your violet wand. If you want some in-depth information about safety in using violet wands and accessories together, see the experts who have been doing this for 20 years, not the new guy struggling to make a name (and sales) for himself.

*Carbon scoring was residual damage caused from burning organic matter and gas after being struck by an energy weapon, that could end up on droids in the Star Wars Universe. It is entirely fictional.

I think hearing that the violet wand is a transformer really made it clear to me how they work. VIOLENT WANDS ARE TRANSFORMERS
