The Two Indispensables

1.  Body Contact Probe

The Body Contact Probe is required for 2/3 of all the basic violet wand techniques.  That means all the Reverse and Indirect techniques are done primarily with this accessory.  If you don’t have one, you are only using 1/3 of the capability of your violet wand and missing out on the majority of what you could be doing.  Be picky when it comes to these.  One reason to be picky is that the best ones carry the charge through the cord at full power, while the poor quality auction homemade knock-offs bleed electricity and lose too much charge along the way by the time it gets to your victim.  These poorer or lower-rated insulation (and sometimes NON-existent insulation) also give you quite a kickback shock when you’re using them or you bump into the uninsulated or poorly insulated cord.  Thin walls of handles and connectors carry less current, and handles that are too thin have a bad habit of bending or folding under stress.

2.  The Lightbulb Adaptor

You do need violet wand electrodes, those glowing glass tubes made specifically for violetwand play.  They can take the abuse that kinkelectrical play requires, since they are made of strong, tempered glass and you can use them internally because of their built-in safety factors.  But for really expanding your base of Direct techniques that dont require pressure, insertion etc, and when all you want is the spark, a Lightbulb Adaptor is indeed, a necessity.  Where the Body Contact Probe increased the range of your techniques, the Lightbulb Adaptor increases the range of your tools. It turns lightbulbs into violetwand electrodes, and your nearest home improvement store has hundreds you can use to amazing effect.

You really can NOT do without these two accessories.  But I would also add a footswitch.  Just makes life so much easier.

Oo I really had no idea. I got a small kit as a present and it has been fun. Now Im starting to understand how much how much you can do.  That I didn’t know!  I am rushing out to get these two things, that is FOR SURE!  I think making your own fingertips electrified and making sparks has got to be the most incredibly thing ive heard of and I can not wait!
